Hi, I’m Sarah.
I have been blessed with a long and vibrant career in hospitality, planning and coordinating events at luxury and boutique venues in NYC, Boston, Chicago, and Washington DC as well as at various private homes on the East Coast. From backyards to ballrooms, to raw spaces and restaurants, each client, vendor, and event space has offered unique inspiration. I love to listen to and connect with my clients and their families, creating a calm and positive energy surrounding the wedding day.
To complement my event experience, I am also an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I help my clients create and maintain self care routines and wellness habits that support them through the excitement of wedding planning and beyond.
Get to know your planner…
I’ve always been into list-making and organizing events. As a child, I “taught myself” calligraphy to create place cards for my family’s 40 person Thanksgiving and made all of the centerpieces (yarn turkeys, of course).
My husband and I spent three months traveling from Tokyo to Madrid in 2015. We were married for a little less than two years at the time. That trip added 10 years to our marriage (in the best way).
Walking in the woods is my favorite form of self care and I find being near salt water revitalizing. I think spending time in nature is so important.
The best thing about planning weddings is the connection I feel to my clients, their families, and the other wedding professionals involved in the day.
